Jamie lives and breathes East Carolina Metal Treating. Everything he knows, he has learned while working here. He started from the bottom, in the mid 1980’s, working summers with his father, and has worked his way up. Starting from working on the floor, to Production Manager, then getting promoted to Plant Manager, taking over as Vice President and finally becoming President of the company.
Abdul has been working as a Metallurgist for over 40 years. After graduating from NIU with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Metallurgy, he worked various positions all over the country such as Staff Metallurgist, Quality Manager, Quality Director, Plant Manager, and General Manager. He came to East Carolina Metal Treating in 2014 as our Quality Director/Metallurgist and is the newest member of our team.
Production Manager (expediting, scheduling)
Thanh has been with East Carolina Metal Treating since 1992 and currently holds the position of Production Manager. He started as a helper and worked his way from furnace operator, lead man, and shift supervisor to his current position. Thanh’s intimate knowledge of each piece of equipment and organizational skills ensures that everything is running correctly and on schedule.
Accounting / H.R. Manager
Misty joined the ECMT team shortly after graduating high school and has been with the company ever since. With over 20 years of experience, she is one of the company’s greatest assets. Her attention to detail is unmatched. When you call, it will most often be her friendly voice that greets you.
After the previous Shipping Manager retired, John was carefully selected based on his 25 years of experience in shipping and receiving. John came from Arizona to join our team at East Carolina Metal Treating in 2012. John’s willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction is one of the many things he adds to the team.
Assistant Production Manager
Benny has been with East Carolina Metal Treating since 1991; he has worked on the shop floor in various positions such as I.Q. operator, lead vacuum operator, and vacuum department supervisor. Today he holds the position of Assistant Production Manager where he ensures the organization of documents and customer satisfaction.
Purchasing / Inventory Manager
Debbie started working at East Carolina Metal Treating on the shop floor wiring parts in 1996. She worked her way up to running the induction machine. Years of dedication and an eagerness to learn lead to her promotion to Quality Manager. If there is ever a role that needs to be filled, Debbie has the skills and willingness to jump right in.
